For me, being introduced to film photography was a lot like meeting one of my best friends, Abby Blackwell. Within the span of a few weeks of us knowing each other I moved into her apartment and became her roommate; our friendship was fast but genuine. The darkroom was intimidating to me, but I knew it was exactly what I had been waiting for.
A big thanks to my photography professor, Irby Pace, for his patience while teaching our class how to navigate the darkroom. Another thanks to historic film photographer, Dorothea Lange, for inspiring 5th grade me with your Dust Bowl photographs.
